Tiny Lighthouse

Towers are turned or laminated from birch ply depending on the shape, then filled, sanded and painted by hand. Galleries are brass wire, soldered and blackened.

Each is based on a real light. These are not scale models. Proportions are adjusted until the piece reads correctly at shelf height, which is not the same as reading correctly on a cliff.

Because they are made singly, no two are identical. Matching pairs are built together.
